3D, puzzle-thriller, exploration game where the player escaping a research facility from an evil scientist in darkness. Inspired by Alien Isolation. The player’s sight is limited due to a lack of light. The player will have to rely on their ability to touch and feel things around them in-order to navigate around their environment. This concept is similar to that of a blind person where they have to rely on their other senses to move around the area. Created with our own custom 3D engine.

GAM300/GAM350 - Graphics Lead


I have contributed mainly to the graphics architecture side with the different render techniques that are more or less based on the same underlying theory that more closely matches that of the physical world. I have also contributed to the material pipeline which allows the game engine to have reflection, refraction, emissive and standard PBR Materials. I also worked on post-processing and lighting functionalities for the team.


Additionally, the game idea revolves around black and white as an initial idea. Hence, I worked on a custom edge detection algorithm that allows the current screen texture to be processed or individual objects.
